These are your neighbors. There are 23 households and an estimated population of over 40 year-round or seasonal residents which increases significantly during summer months.

Given that, at $500 per household for 23 households, the minimum amount of cash receipts for each year that $500 is assessed, should be $11,500. Adding the extra, voluntary N.S.A. assessment should bring the total to $12,000.

In 2021, according to a submitted report 7 out of 23 households did not pay anything. Receipts for that 2020/2021 year was $8,000. The following 3 years there was no report.

On November 19, 2024 an update was sent out stating that as of that time, $6,000 had been collected for that 2024/2025 year. While that update was early, and no doubt more assessments were paid, no further report/update has been seen.

Long story short, there is inadequate accountability under the "goverance" of the KL Council.
